FOE Urges Congress to fire Pruitt in Fox & Friends ad

Friends of the Earth calls on Congress to fire Scott Pruitt in ‘Corrupt’ ad on ‘Fox & Friends’

Ad highlights Pruitt’s corruption and cronyism as he prepares to testify on the Hill

WASHINGTON, D.C. – In anticipation of Scott Pruitt’s first Congressional testimony in months, a new ad airing this week from Friends of the Earth calls on Congress to fire Pruitt.

“Scott Pruitt is the most corrupt administrator in the history of the EPA,” said Lukas Ross, Climate and Energy Campaigner at Friends of the Earth. “Since Trump refuses to act, Congress must step up and fire Pruitt.”

”Corrupt” will air on “Fox & Friends,” one of Trump’s favorite TV shows, starting Monday, April 23, through Thursday, April 26 — the day Pruitt is set to appear in Congress. The ad highlights a series of scandals that have rocked Pruitt in recent weeks, including his luxury travel, a sweetheart rental deal from the wife of an energy lobbyist, and Pruitt’s decision to undercut the White House to give pay raises to loyal political aides.

“Scott Pruitt has wasted millions of taxpayer dollars on his lavish lifestyle and given special favors to his friends and allies,” added Ross. “Americans are sick of it, and we will not let up the pressure until Congress does the right thing and fires Pruitt.”
