Elizabeth is a Digital Organizing Coordinator at FOE. As a member of the Development team, she writes and edits email communications and fields comments from FOE members and supporters. She also works closely with the campaign to save the EPA from debilitating funding cuts. Elizabeth joined FOE after beginning her career at Greenpeace USA, where she worked in grassroots organizing and administration. She once challenged Hillary Clinton’s stance on Atlantic oil drilling at a campaign rally before the 2016 presidential election. She is also proud to have organized and led a bus trip for activists traveling from Richmond, VA to the first People’s Climate March in New York City in September 2014. Elizabeth was raised hiking and camping in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Roanoke, Virginia. She majored in Leadership Studies at the University of Richmond in Virginia. Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors as much as possible, reading and writing poetry, and making dessert using vegetables.
