Maryah Lauer

Maryah Lauer is a Grassroots Organizer with Friends of the Earth working to grow and engage our activist base on the ground in Colorado. Her work is centered around environmental justice and fighting the Suncor Energy tar sands refinery. Prior to joining the staff, Maryah was an organizing fellow and supported various efforts to address the climate crisis. Maryah holds a B.A. in Political Science and Communications from the University of Colorado and a Master of Laws in Human Rights and the Environment from Lancaster University. She enjoys hiking with her dog, reading, and dreams of one day having a small regenerative farm.
