Miranda Mlilo is a Grassroots Organizer with Friends of the Earth working to grow and engage our activist base. She works to advance their efforts in the intersection of environmental and racial justice, by uplifting the voice and struggle of historically marginalized communities. Prior to this, she worked as an intern for FoE on their Food and Agriculture Team. Miranda holds a Bachelor of Science from in Environmental Science and Policy from University of Maryland (UMD), and a minor in French. During her time at UMD, she organized within the campus community around Environmental Justice, Black Lives Matter, and Palestinian Human Rights. In her free time, Miranda loves to sing, play piano, and spend as much time outdoors as possible!
