Friends of the Earth calls for Trump to be permanently deplatformed

Today, Facebook’s oversight board voted to continue the deplatforming of Donald Trump.

Friends of the Earth Climate Disinformation Campaigner Michael Khoo Emitió la siguiente declaración:

Zuckerberg’s oversight board may have made the right call at this moment, but society should not rely on this group to determine the fate of our national conversations. Facebook’s oversight board should be disbanded and no governments or civil society groups should interact with them. Governments should focus on the only person with structural power, Mark Zuckerberg, and hold him to account for the social media monster he’s created.

Social media, and the world itself, have been better off with Trump gone. Facebook should make the deplatforming of Trump permanent.
