Senate Democrats release Clean Cars for America plan

WASHINGTON, DC – In a New York Times op-ed, Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats announced a plan to domestically promote clean, electric vehicles. The plan calls for making clean cars and charging infrastructure affordable and accessible, and creating an American-made manufacturing supply chain.

This plan correctly focuses on making clean cars and charging infrastructure affordable and accessible, and creates an American-made manufacturing supply chain that will provide workers with high-quality, union jobs in a sustainable industry.
