The toolkit has tips on five ways that you can take action:
- Share our top 5 reasons for ending oil and gas subsidies with your friends, colleagues, family and community.
- Attend town hall meetings to let your elected representatives know how you feel — see our tips for speaking up at public events.
- Organize an in-district meeting with your member of Congress.
- Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper — see our sample letter.
- Join the Friends of the Earth online community and keep us up to date on what you’re doing to stop taxpayer handouts to Big Oil.
