
Friends of the Earth hires communications director
WASHINGTON, D.C.— Friends of the Earth welcomes EA Dyson today, who will serve as director of communications, based in Washington, DC. In this role, he will the lead the organization’s strategic, national communications in support of its public policy, visibility and issue outreach.
“We are pleased to have EA join our team to help further solidify our outreach and visibility,” said President Erich Pica. “We believe his extensive experience and perspectives will help Friends of the Earth continue to advance our mission.”
Dyson has more than 15 years experience leading international communications and media outreach efforts for a variety of nonprofit organizations. Most recently, he served as senior communications manager for CRDF Global. Prior to that, he worked for conservation, small business and women’s health organizations.
A Washington, DC native, Dyson received his Bachelor’s degree from Johnson & Wales University; and is a veteran of the U.S. Army.
