
Friends of the Earth immediately available for Keystone XL EIS comment
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Environmental groups expect that the State Department will issue an Environmental Impact Statement for the Keystone XL Pipeline today, January 31. Under the National Environmental Policy Act, this analysis is required to reflect all environmental effects resultant of the completion of this pipeline, which will transport tar sands crude oil across the United States from Alberta, Canada to Cushing, OK.
