Friends of the Earth downgrades cruise industry

Friends of the Earth has downgraded the cruise industry on environmental stewardship for what it says is a lack of transparency.

In the group’s annual environmental report card for 2014, Disney Cruise Line earns a C+, the highest grade of any of the 16 lines reviewed. Friends of the Earth said Disney would have earned an A except that it declined to cooperate with the study.
