Zinke Probe Referred to the Justice Department for Investigation
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington Post today reported that the Department of Interior’s Inspector General referred at least one of the office’s probes into Ryan Zinke’s conduct in office to the Department of Justice for investigation.
In response, Nicole Ghio, Senior Program Manager at Friends of the Earth, issued the following statement:
Referring Zinke to the DOJ for his conduct in office is yet another reason to fire him. If the DOI Inspector General believes Zinke broke the law, the Secretary must be removed from office as quickly as possible. Zinke has shown time and time again that he will put himself and his political donors before the good of this country.
