Trump order will harm environmental and worker protections

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Early this morning Donald Trump signed an executive order that aims to slash government regulations.

Friends of the Earth Senior Political Strategist Ben Schreiber offered the following response,

With this executive order Donald Trump made it clear that to him corporations and billionaires are real Americans but low-income people and communities of color are not. His order disregards the benefits that environmental and worker protections bring to America. Trump’s economic goal to sacrifice public health on the altar of corporate profits will destroy America, not make it great.
