Assault on Organics: Separating myth from fact

Experts discuss industry PR tactics at Expo West

ANAHEIM, CA —In response to booming organic markets and growing consumer skepticism about industrial food, the agrochemical industry has spent an estimated $300 million in just three years on deceptive PR campaigns to denigrate organics and promote their vision of a chemical-intensive, GMO-dominant agricultural system. Two experts will pull the curtain back on industry tactics on March 5 at Natural Products on Expo West and discuss how the organic industry can counter the spin and amplify its positive vision of a healthy, truly sustainable food system.
