Meghan Jones

Meghan Jones is a Senior Policy Advocate for School Food Policy at Friends of the Earth. In this role, she is responsible for leading policy advocacy campaigns aimed at promoting healthy, climate-friendly meals in K-12 schools. Meghan most recently served as the Legislative Campaigns Manager for a lobbying firm advocating for sustainable agriculture and previously served as a Regional Director for Factory Farming Awareness Coalition, where she educated thousands of students and educators annually on the holistic impacts of industrial animal agriculture. She holds a Master of Legal Studies from Lewis and Clark Law School, and BAs from the University of Washington in Political Science and the Comparative History of Ideas with an emphasis in Critical Human and Animal Studies. In her free time, she “dabbles” in hiking, snowboarding, running, cycling, yoga, lifting, cooking, reading, and crafting.
