Michelle Perez is the People and Culture Director at Friends of the Earth where she oversees the Talent Management functions that include recruitment, performance, benefits, and employee engagement. Prior to joining Friends of the Earth Michelle worked for various public and private institutions where she implemented a variety of Human Resources policies and processes that were equitable and innovative. Michelle seeks to align and leverage employees’ skills and strengths to the organizations mission.
Michelle has an MBA with a concentration in Human Resource Management, is a Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional, and is also a Meyers Briggs Type Indicator practitioner. During her free time you can find her outdoors with her husband and their dog, reading books on personal development or historical fiction, or baking cookies.
