Molly Armus is the Animal Agriculture Policy Program Manager at Friends of the Earth, where she works to advance policies that strengthen federal oversight of industrial animal agriculture, hold these entities accountable for their harms to communities and the environment and redirect resources towards more sustainable food production. Molly previously served as the Virginia state director for the Humane Society of the United States where she successfully lobbied for a variety of local and statewide animal protection laws. Molly received a B.A. in political science from Boston University and a J.D. from Vermont Law School. She currently resides in Richmond, Virginia with her partner and three cats, Hamilton, Robin and Gordie.
