Raena is the Senior Energy Campaigner at Friends of the Earth, her work centering around federal energy policy, including preventing the federal government from supporting and expanding US Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) infrastructure and projects.
Prior to this role, Raena was the Senior Fossil Fuels and Lands Campaigner at Friends of the Earth and has held a position with the Union of Concerned Scientists related to science advocacy and civic engagement during the 2020 Election. She has worked as an Americorps VISTA and was a 2019 Friends of the Earth Arlie Schardt Memorial Fellow. Raena received her BS in Biology and BA in Psychology from the University of New Mexico.
