Sarah is a Senior Campaigner of Food and Agriculture with Friends of the Earth, where she focuses on protecting people and pollinators from toxic pesticides. Before joining FOE, she led grassroots campaigns with organizations including Oceana, PennEnvironment, Sunrise Movement, and Endangered Species Coalition for climate action and environmental justice. She attended the University of Pennsylvania and is also a graduate of Green Corps, the Field School for Environmental Organizers. Since 2021 Sarah has been the co-operator of Tavern Creek Farm, a 110-acre regenerative farm on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, which sustainably produces tree fruits, tree nuts, and heirloom vegetables and conserves 70+ acres of wildlife habitat. Outside of work you can find her farming, reading, writing, and hiking or biking throughout the Chesapeake Bay region.
